Rumah Pelacuran and Sex Scenes.

Assalamualaikum/May peace be upon you

Tadi I was watching Buletin Utama and saw a news on this one so-called budget hotel that doubles up as rumah pelacuran. And as Malaysians, hearing news like this is no surprise. I mean, come on lah, not trying to be a stereotype, tapi when we walk around Chow Kit ke, or Lorong Haji Taib ke, bila nampak je these "budget" hotels, boleh agak dah memang they offer services like pelacur, or more often than never, rumah urut.

And the Malaysian government have a law against people offering these services. Senang cerita, kalau tempat-tempat ni kantoi, the pengusaha as well as all the workers will be imprisoned or sent back to their own country. (Ni kalau pendatang haram lah, kalau memang warganegara nak hantar mana pulak lah kan? Penjara jelah duduknya.)

Tapi yang peliknya, kenapa kalau orang duduk dating dekat taman tu orang biar je? Takda siapa pun nak tangkap? What they're doing is still maksiat jugak kan? Only that they're doing it in an open place and of course, they have their clothes on. But still, it's still haram, ain't it? Unless lah kalau these people are already engaged and have a muhrim to accompany them, if you get what I mean. Which in most happenings are not the case.

Lepas tu lagi, something that I find funny is that right after Buletin Utama ended, a telemovie started, and the best part, ada lah scenes peluk-peluk, which was acted by supposed-to-be Muslim actors/actresses. So where's the logic in this? Just because the pelacurs on the news were doing ehem-ehem in an enclosed place in Jalan Petaling, then they should be arrested and convicted of a crime, tapi these people yang act as lovers, hugs and touches each other in front of a million audiences are just doing their job?

Mungkin these filmmakers mengambil prinsip that because there are a lot of audiences watching the film/movie, so the people yang berdating and stuffs bukan sedang berdua-duaan? Ya, ada kemungkinan di situ. But I'm just unable to make sense of these.

Then in Ramadhan, they'll have these serbuan or tangkapan to stop people from dating dekat taman-taman. But these operations only happen in the holy month of Ramadhan. Kenapa buat masa Ramadhan? Sebab benda ni haram, and Ramadhan kan bulan puasa, so tak boleh buat. Habis tu other months these doings are halal? Eh tak faham lah! *emo lebih pulak aku ni*

And if there is any soul who happens to understand what's going on with our country, or better yet, our understanding of our own religion, then please do enlighten me.

Terima kasih for taking your time to read. :)
